Big Snow Resort – Indianhead & Blackjack Mountains

Mountain Stats: Blackjack Mountain: 26 trails throughout 170 wooded acres, 490 vertical feet, 2 terrain parks, and 6 lifts. Indianhead Mountain: 30 trails throughout 230 wooded acres, 640 vertical feet, 1 terrain park, and 9 lifts. Night Skiing is available on Saturday nights at Indianhead Mtn.

 

On The Trails

• Gogebic Range Trail Authority Snowmobile Trails: December 10th, 2021
  • This is early season riding, conditions are marginal. If you are desperate to get out, come ride! Folks have been enjoying the trails all week. We have a live trail report from last night on our page with further details.
     
    • Wolverine Trails: December 10th, 2021
      • Wolverine is official open…Groomed and Track set this morning
    • Miners Memorial Trails: December 10th, 2021
      • Miners Trail is groomed and tracked and in  excellent condition. The sledding hill is also groomed. Enjoy
    • ABR Ski Trails: December 10th, 2021
      • 12/09/21- We received about 4 inches of snow from 8:30 AM to 2 PM. Winds and snow have stopped so we will be back to grooming in the early AM with a full crew. Looks like one of the Pisten Bullies will be out to groom old ABR. the rest will still be on light equipment. We are grooming 94 km of trails
    • Montreal Trails: December 10th, 2021
      • As of 12/07/21 – All of the Historic Montreal Ski trails have been groomed and ready for you. Get out there and breath deeply, friends. We’ll keep you posted here and on our social media with ongoing updates throughout this season.
      • Porcupine Mountains Trails: December 10th, 2021
      • 12/9/21- It’s looking like winter at the Porkies! Snow fall totals vary throughout the park. Rangers have been out packing, rolling and even track setting cross country trails in the park. Grass is still visible in areas.The snowmobile groomer has been on South Boundary Road and M-107 (heading to Lake of the Clouds) and are reporting good snow cover so far! We are looking at a bit warmer temps the next couple days that will soften things up a bit.

     

    Big Powderhorn Mountain

    Opening soon for the 2021/2022 season!

    Mountain Stats: 45 trails throughout 253 wooded acres, 622 vertical feet, 3 unique terrain parks, and 9 lifts.

     

    Mt. Zion Ski Hill

    Tentative opening is December 18th!

    Mountain Stats: 10 trails, 300 vertical feet, 1 terrain park, 2 tow ropes, and 1 lift.

     

    Porcupine Mountains

    Tentative opening is December 17th!

    Mountain Stats: 20 trails throughout 250 wooded acres, 670 vertical feet, a natural terrain park,1 lift, and 2 rope tows.
