Ironwood City Square
Ironwood, Michigan
In early 2020, Ironwood received a state grant to help build a new city square in downtown Ironwood. This park will have extensive landscaping, solar and environmental features, outdoor seating, an amphitheater, locations for food trucks, an outdoor fireplace, a summer splash pad, a winter ice rink trail and a sledding area. The park is located on the corner of Aurora St. and Lowell St. across from Joe’s Pasty Shop and the Historic Ironwood Theatre.
Ramsay Memorial Park
Ramsay, Michigan
This newly renovated park features a new playground, tennis courts, basketball-pickle ball court with lighting, a pavilion and picnic areas. The park also offers a historic army tank, a stone cooking chimney built by the Civilian Conservation Corps. and a historical Keystone Bridge.
Bluff Valley Park
Bessemer, Michigan
Park amenities include a pavilion with restroom and kitchen facilities available for rental, basketball and tennis courts, children’s playground equipment & plenty of open space for outdoor activities. There is also a walking path that is connected to the wooded trails that lead to the bluff that overlooks the city.
Downtown Pocket Park
Ironwood, Michigan
This park is located right in the heart of downtown Ironwood – the perfect spot to sit, relax and enjoy the outdoors.
Norrie Park
Ironwood, Michigan
Norrie Park was built as one of the areas Civilian Conservation Corps camps during the Great Depression. Norrie Park is now a hotspot for outdoor activities with hiking and biking trails, community gardens, a Montreal river walk, a playground area, pavilion, and picnic tables & grills. They also recently added a 9 hole disc golf course.
Mount Zion
Ironwood, Michigan
Mt. Zion is located on the campus of Gogebic Community College. Here you can enjoy beautiful vistas (perfect spot to catch a view of the Fall Foliage), mountain biking, disc golf in the summer & skiing in the winter.
Miner’s Park (Iron Belle Trail)
Ironwood, Michigan
Miner’s Park is the perfect place to enjoy both silent and motorized recreational opportunities. You can cross-country ski, snowshoe, hike, bike, ATV and snowmobile within the park. Hiawatha Park
Ironwood, Michigan
Park is located a few short blocks from downtown Ironwood, across the street from Manny’s restuarant. Hiawatha, the World’s Tallest Indian Statue, stands at 52 ft. high and weighs 18,000 pounds. Stop and check it out!
Downtown Art Park
Ironwood, Michigan
The Art Park is located directly across the street from the Historic Ironwood Theatre and Downtown Art Place. Here you will find a public display of outdoor art, a place to relax, and on occasion musical performances.
Longyear Park

The Longyear Park is a beautiful park with playgrounds, basketball hoops, a walking trail, and live music in the summer.
